WMQ series coil are Multi-positional (Upflow/Downflow/Horizontal) and are compatible with 10-12 SEER Air Conditioning and Heat Pump Condensers. 13 SEER Indoor Coils are also available.

WMQ - 10 & 12 SEER Multi-positional Indoor Coils

The WMQ series are fully cased multi-positional coils for use with Winchester WLE series Air Conditioning and WHP series Heat Pump quick connect condensers. These units are fully cased multi-positional evaporator coils that can be used in upflow, downflow, or horizontal applications.

 

All WMQ series coils come pre-charged with R-22 refrigerant and are equipped with quick connect fittings. When matched with one of our quick connect condensers and quick connect line sets installation time and expense are reduced since there is no brazing or charging on most typical installations.

  • Fully cased and insulated cabinet can be used for upflow, downflow, and horizontal applications.

  • Equipped with quick connect fittings and pre-charged with R-22.

  • Horizontal drain pan included

  • High-heat plastic condensate pans prevent rust.

    Secondary condensate drain for back-up drainage.

    Not Certified for Mobile Home Use.

HOW TO PROPERLY MATCH AN INDOOR COIL

Before selecting the indoor Coil, choose the Condenser and Furnace/Air Handler.

It is recommended to completely replace older air conditioning and heat pump systems in order to achieve proper system efficiency and operation.

1. Match Your System Efficiency

Choose an indoor Coil that matches the SEER rating of your outdoor Condenser.

(i.e. 10 SEER, 12 SEER, 13 SEER, etc.)

 

2. Match Your System Size

Choose an indoor Coil that matches the System Size of your outdoor Condenser.

(i.e. 2 ton, 2.5 ton, 3 ton, etc.)

 

3. Heat Pump or Air Conditioning?

Hamilton model WMQ series 10 SEER Indoor Coils are compatible with both air conditioning and heat pump systems.

 

3. Match Your Furnace/Air Handler Dimensions

Select the coil that has a case width closest to the width of the furnace. Multi-positional Coils can be used for all upflow, downflow, or horizontal. Learn more about heating applications.
