WPQ - 13 SEER Multi-positional Indoor Coils

The WPQ series are fully cased multi-positional coils for use with Winchester WAC series 13 SEER Air Conditioning condensers.

The WTQ series are fully cased multi-positional evaporator coils that come equipped with a factory installed TXV for use with Winchester WPH series 13 SEER Heat Pump condensers.

Both coils can be used in upflow, downflow and horizontal applications, are pre-charged at the factory with R-22 refrigerant, and are equipped with quick connect fittings. When matched with one of our quick connect condensers and quick connect line sets installation time and expense are reduced since there is no brazing or charging on most typical installations.

Please Note: As of January 1, 2010, The EPA requires all New Construction applications and installations where there was no R-22 system in place to have R-410A equipment installed.

HOW TO PROPERLY MATCH AN INDOOR COIL

Before selecting the indoor Coil, choose the Condenser and Furnace/Air Handler.

It is recommended to completely replace older air conditioning and heat pump systems in order to achieve proper 13 SEER system efficiency and operation. Matching a 13 SEER condenser with a 13 SEER indoor coil will ensure optimum efficiency and peak operating performance.

1. Match Your System Efficiency

Choose an indoor Coil that matches the SEER rating of your outdoor Condenser. For example, 13 SEER coils are to be used with 13 SEER Condensers)

2. Match Your System Size

Choose an indoor Coil that matches the System Size of your outdoor Condenser.

(i.e. 2 ton, 2.5 ton, 3 ton, etc.)

3. Heat Pump or Air Conditioning?

Your system will either be an Air Conditioning System or a Heat Pump System. Choose an indoor Coil that is compatible with your system. Learn more about the difference.

3. Match Your Furnace/Air Handler Dimensions

Select the coil that has a case width closest to the width of the furnace. Multi-positional Coils are designed for use in all applications. Learn more about heating applications.
