10 SEER condensers cost up to 40% less to purchase than 13 SEER systems, which have been mandated as the "NEW MINIMUM EFFICIENCY" by the U.S. government!
WLE - 10 SEER Heat Pump Condensers

The WHP series single phase Heat Pump from Hamilton gives year-round comfort. It works just like an air conditioner in the summer, and provides heat in the winter. All of our Heat Pumps are pre-charged at the factory and are equipped with quick connect fittings. Installation time and expense are reduced since there is no brazing or charging on most typical installations.

 

These systems may be used with an air handler or furnace. When using with a natural gas, LP gas, or oil furnace, an outdoor thermostat and fossil fuel kit must be used. (See Heat Pump Accessories for details.)

  • Condensers are pre-charged with R-22 refrigerant and have quick connect fittings to reduce installation time when matched with our indoor coils and line sets.

  • Reversing valve automatically changes from cooling to heating while accumulator regulates different refrigeration needs of both heating and cooling cycles.

  • Internally protected compressor to guard against high pressure and temperature.

  • Weatherized pre-painted steel casing to resist corrosion & rust.

  • Factory installed solid core filter-drier and high pressure relief valve protect the system and extend compressor life.

  • Top air discharge keeps air away from structure and landscaping.

  • Color coded wiring makes unit easy to service.

  • Long-life, maintenance-free fan motor with sealed, permanently lubricated motor bearings.

  • Approved for Mobile Home Use

HOW TO SELECT A 10 SEER HEAT PUMP SYSTEM

Estimate the Heat Pump System Size

You can refer to an estimate or proposal from a local contractor, refer to the size of your existing system that you may want replaced, or use the sizing estimation chart provided on this page.

 

Use the map to determine your Region based on the location of your home. Using the equipment charts, find your Region and go down the column to locate the range that covers the Square Footage of your home. Follow the row to the right to determine the recommended System Size for your Air Handler.

Estimate the Heating and Cooling Size for your home.

NOTE: These tables and charts are intended to be used as a guideline only. The information is based on conventional window space (<15%), insulation and building construction. Only use these tables as a reference. When including a finished basement, use 1/2 of the finished basement square footage with the rest of the area being calculated.
