WUN/WND/W9M
(Single-Stage) |
|

 |
The WUN/WND/W9M Series furnaces are designed to save you money on utility bills. The
condensing gas furnace may be installed as a single pipe system, using
indoor air for combustion, or as a 2-pipe sealed combustion system,
bringing in fresh outdoor air for combustion. Since the flue gases are
at a much lower temperature, the furnace may be vented vertically or
horizontally with schedule 40 PVC or ABS pipe. Plus, the unit is Air
Conditioning ready with an adjustable speed blower motor for maximum
comfort. These furnaces are factory assembled, wired and tested to
assure safe, dependable and economical operation. Designed for both
residential and commercial installations.
When matching with an A/C System, make sure to
match the evaporator coil case width to the width of the furnace.
(The width of the furnace is shown in bold in the
specifications listed below.)
For assistance deciding what type of furnace
to select, see our page on
Heating Basics.
2-Stage High Efficiency Furnaces are also
available.

HOW TO
SELECT A 90%+ EFFICIENT GAS FURNACE |
|
Estimating the Furnace Size |
 |
|
You can refer to an estimate or
proposal from a local contractor, refer to the size of your existing
system that you may want replaced, or use the sizing estimation
chart provided on this page.
Use the map to determine your
Region based on the location of your home. Using the equipment
charts, find your Region and go down the column to locate the
range that covers the Square Footage of your home. Follow the
row to the right to determine the recommended Furnace for your
application. |
|
NOTE: These tables and charts are
intended to be used as a guideline only. The information is based on
conventional window space (<15%), insulation and building
construction. Only use these tables as a reference. When including a
finished basement, use 1/2 of the finished basement square footage
with the rest of the area being calculated. |
