(AGA) The American Gas Association

The American Gas Association advocates the interests of its energy utility members and their customers, and provides information and services promoting   demand   and   supply   growth   and operational excellence in the safe, reliable and cost-competitive delivery of natural gas.

 

(ASHRAE) American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, & Air Conditioning Engineers

ASHRAE was formed by the merger of two societies, American Society of Heating and Ventilating Engineers (ASHVE), known after 1954 as American Society of Heating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHAE) and the American Society of Refrigerating Engineers (ASRE).

 

(ACRI) The Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute

The Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute (ARI) has occupied a leadership role in the advocacy of the heating, ventilating, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC&R) industry for over 50 years. ARI certification consists of manufacturers who voluntarily participate in independent testing to ensure that their product will perform according to published claims.

 

(ACCA) Air Conditioning Contractors of America

ACCA is the largest HVACR organization in the world, with members in all 50 states as well as more than a dozen foreign countries. They are a contractor-led organization that exists for only one reason: improving the industry and helping our members succeed!

 

(ADC) Air Diffusion Council

The purpose for which the Air Diffusion Council was formed, as stated in its Certification of Incorporation, is to promote and further the interests of the manufacturers of air distribution equipment, more specifically, flexible air ducts and related products, and the interests of the general public in the areas of safety, quality, efficiency and energy conservation, and to this end, develop programs approved and supported by the membership that legally promote and further these interests.

 

(CSA) Canadian Standards Association

The CSA tests products for compliance to national and international standards, and issue certification marks for qualified products. Certification marks tell potential customers and users that a product has been evaluated by a formal process-involving examination, testing and follow-up inspection-and that it complies with applicable standards for safety and performance.

 

ENERGY STAR

Energy Star® is a joint program of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy helping us all save money and protect the environment through energy efficient products and practices. (GAMA) The Gas Appliance Manufacturers Association

GAMA, the Gas Appliance Manufacturers Association, is a national trade association of manufacturers of residential, commercial and industrial appliances and equipment, components and related products. GAMA's scope includes oil-fired and electric equipment as well as gas-fired equipment.

 

ISO (International Organization for Standardization)

ISO is the world's largest developer of standards. Although ISO's principal activity is the development of technical standards, ISO standards also have important economic and social repercussions. ISO standards make a positive difference, not just to engineers and manufacturers for whom they solve basic problems in production and distribution, but to society as a whole. The International Standards which ISO develops are very useful. They are useful to industrial and business organizations of all types, to governments and other regulatory bodies, to trade officials, to conformity assessment professionals, to suppliers and customers of products and services in both public and private sectors, and, ultimately, to people in general in their roles as consumers and end users.

 

(NPGA) National Propane Gas Association

The National Propane Gas Association (NPGA) is the national trade association representing the U.S. propane industry. With a membership of more than 3,500 companies in all 50 states, 38 affiliated state or regional associations, and members in 28 foreign countries, NPGA represents every segment of the propane industry.

 

("UL® Listed Products") Underwriter's Laboratory

Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (UL) is an independent, not-for-profit product-safety testing and certification organization. We have tested products for public safety for more than a century.
