Shipping Specials

Free UPS Standard Ground Shipping & Handling on all online orders subtotaling $50.00 (before tax) or more, Hamilton Home Products, Inc. will pay for UPS Standard Ground Shipping & Handling, at no additional charge to you.

  • All orders received after 11:00 AM (EST) will be processed on the next business day.

  • Applies only to online orders (Continental U.S. Only) subtotaling (before taxes) $50 or more of merchandise, at the Hamilton Home Products, Inc. and the Hamilton Parts Express© websites.

Free UPS Standard Ground Shipping & Handling does not include certain special order items, certain oversize items, gift certificates, and any products that do not indicate free shipping.

  • Applies to U.S. delivery addresses in the 50 states only, including Alaska and Hawaii, but is subject to other geographic shipping restrictions that may apply to particular products.

  • Applies to United States ZIP Codes only.

  • May be used in conjunction with a promotional certificate. The qualifying amount is the total amount of the products purchased before the promotional certificate is applied.

Tracking

Hamilton Home Products, Inc. uses the United Parcel Service (UPS) to ship all items possible according to UPS' weight and size allowances. In the event that a item must be shipped via freight carrier or other transport service, additional terms may apply. Hamilton will attempt to contact you, prior to processing your order, to notify you of these charges and request your acceptance.

Hamilton reserves the right to utilize tracking services provided by third party shipping companies in order to ensure time-in-transit, time of delivery, proof of delivery, and delivery location. Personally identifiable information will be used when performing tracking services. Hamilton also reserves the right to retain and withhold sensitive tracking information, for various security reasons, but will attempt to track or locate shipments in question.

All sales and purchases made through Hamilton Home Products, Inc. are subject to review and approval by a Hamilton Representative prior to shipment of each order. It is the purchaser's responsibility to provide complete and accurate information to Hamilton for the purpose of quality assurance, as well as accurate billing and shipping.

 

Hamilton reserves the right to verify any and all information provided to ensure accuracy, validity, and to resolve any issues or concerns about any order in question. Hamilton reserves the right to contact the purchaser prior to processing any order, therefore, the information collected during the ordering process may be used in such a way.

 

Hamilton, when contacted, will attempt to assist the purchaser in verifying proper order placement. The purchaser should always refer to the Model and Serial Number of their equipment prior to placing an order or contacting Hamilton for assistance. In the event that Hamilton, makes an error, Hamilton will make every effort to correct the order in a reasonable and timely manner. Hamilton is NOT responsible for orders placed incorrectly by the purchaser. (See Hamilton's Return Policy.) While Hamilton makes every effort to ensure proper order placement, it is ultimately the purchaser's responsibility to ensure that the goods are being ordered correctly.

 

All "In-stock" items are generally shipped within 24 hours (excluding weekends and holidays). "Special Orders" for items (not in stock) will take longer, based on availability and shipping location and may be subject to additional shipping and handling charges.

Always check your order, its contents, packaging, and all printed material to ensure you have received your order correctly, prior to contacting Hamilton.

 

Returns/Exchanges

All returns and exchanges must be made within 30 days of purchase and require a Return Authorization Number (RA#) to be issued by Hamilton Home Products, Inc. or they will be refused.

  • To obtain a Return Authorization Number, you must contact Hamilton’s Customer Service Department at 1-800-879-0123, Monday thru Friday from 8:30am to 5pm EST.

  • No merchandise will be returned or exchanged beyond 30 days of the Original Delivery Date (the date the order is delivered to the customer).

 

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may, after obtaining a Return Authorization Number (RA#), exchange or return the merchandise for a refund for the Exact Cost of merchandise (less all Shipping & Handling Charges). Sales Tax (where applicable) will only be credited for uninstalled, undamaged, and non-defective goods. Restocking fees* may apply.

 

All returned merchandise must be free from damage of any kind and be in its original factory box with all original packing materials, warranty cards, manuals, accessories, in sellable condition.

 

All returns are subject to inspection upon receipt by Hamilton, prior to issuing credit. Hamilton will not authorize or issue credit for any items that have been damaged, previously installed, or misused in any way.

 

All merchandise items are Final Sale. All Returns/Exchanges must be double boxed (manufacturers box must be inside of another box designed for shipping) with the RA # written clearly on the outer box accompanied by a note explaining why the product is being returned in the original merchandise's box.

 

Defective/Warranty Returns

All Hamilton parts, unless otherwise stated, are OEM. These items are given a 1 Year Limited Replacement Parts Warranty. If any of these items are deemed defective, they will be covered exclusively by the manufacturer’s warranties and you must contact Hamilton prior to any warranty claims or returns. (The 1 Year Limited Replacement Parts Warranty is listed at the end of this document.)  This warranty does not include wear items such as evaporator pads, or items that require periodic replacement as routine maintenance.

 

Damaged Returns

We make every effort to prevent shipping damages; if your package appears damaged upon receipt, immediately contact Hamilton’s Customer Service Department at 1-800-879-0123. All items damaged during transit, require a Shipping Claim to be filed with the carrier (UPS or Freight Company). If merchandise is to be returned, it must be returned double boxed (manufacturers box must be inside of another box designed for shipping) with the RA # written clearly on the outer box accompanied by a note explaining why the product is being returned in the original merchandise's box.

 

Order Error Returns

If Hamilton determines that the purchaser has placed an order or part of an order in error, returns will be subject to a Restocking Fee (See Restocking Fees) for all non-defective unopened merchandise. In the event that Hamilton makes an error due to an order discrepancy, Hamilton will make every effort to correct the order in a reasonable and timely manner.

 

Restocking Fees

All returns are subject to a 15 percent restocking fee for all non-defective unopened merchandise. If the return does not include all the original parts, accessories, or the packaging is not is new sellable condition; Hamilton reserves the right to either charge an additional fee for the missing materials or refuse the return.

  • Hamilton will use personally identifiable information for conducting warranty claims and inquiries.

  • You should have the following information available before contacting Hamilton:

    • Customer Name

    • Shipping Address

    • Billing Address

    • Unit Model and Serial Number (where applicable)

    • Proof of Purchase/ Proof of Installation Service Information

  • As Hamilton administers the full manufacturer's warranty in accordance with their policies and procedures, Hamilton reserves the right to review and approve or decline all warranty claims and submissions.

  • Hamilton Home Products, Inc. offers replacement parts for Hamilton equipment.

  • Hamilton does not offer monetary reimbursement for failed or defective items after use or installation.

  • Hamilton, at its discretion, will provide appropriate replacement parts, free of charge, less shipping, with special instructions for any returns (where applicable).

  • Hamilton Home Products, Inc. DOES NOT make any guarantee for any parts used or installed into equipment other than the OEM equipment, nor those parts installed or used in any way other than specified by the manufacturer.

Information Use

Hamilton uses customer/user information for the purpose of providing customer service, including but not limited to: order placement, transaction processing, warranty claims and service, technical assistance, and for acting as liaison for customers/users with manufacturers and their respective departments, retail centers, and companies directly or indirectly involved with Hamilton’s products. Hamilton will not share personally identifiable information with these outside organizations unless required to do so in order to assist the customer/user.

 

Cookies

A cookie is an extremely small text file that resides on the customer’s/user's hard drive, created at the request of the Web server to track specific information. Pages on the Hamilton Web site may use cookies.

 

E-mail

Any information collected within the context of an email inquiry or comment submitted to Hamilton will only be used for the expressed purpose of responding to your inquiry or comment. We collect personally identifiable information only if specifically and knowingly provided by you. Hamilton may redirect the message to another agency or person who is in a better position to answer the question.

 

Web-based Forms

Hamilton uses Web-based forms for various reasons. Personally identifiable information collected from these forms has a specified use (e.g., customer service inquiry, registration, survey response, etc.) and the information is generally used by Hamilton for that purpose only.

If a customer/user wishes to subscribe to our newsletter, we ask for information such as name and email address. Out of respect for the privacy of our customers/users we present the option to not receive these types of communications. Please see the Choice and Opt-out sections.

 

Service Announcements

On rare occasions it is necessary to send out a strictly service related announcement. For instance, if our service is temporarily suspended for maintenance, we might send customers/users an email. Generally, customers/users may not opt-out, though they can deactivate their account. However, these are not promotional in nature.

 

Customer Service

Hamilton understands the importance of Customer Service. Hamilton may be contacted by email or by telephone: 1-800-879-0123.

We promise to treat each customer with the respect and efficiency they deserve. Hamilton usually responds to emails within 24 hrs (Monday - Friday). If an accurate response requires more than 24 hours, we will make every effort to inform you.

 

Sharing

Hamilton will use personally identifiable information for the purpose of conducting warranty claims, order placement, troubleshooting, and account maintenance. Hamilton does contact manufacturers, retailers, and technical service departments for the purpose of meeting the needs of our customers/users, and will provide personally identifiable information to these companies and their affiliates, as necessary, to assist our customers/users. (See “Information Use”)

 

Legal Disclaimer

Though we make every effort to preserve customer/customer/user privacy, we may need to disclose personal information when required by law wherein we have a good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served on Hamilton Home Products, Inc.

 

Aggregate Information (non-personally identifiable)

We share aggregated demographic information with our partners and affiliates. We share information regarding but not limited to: page visits, file requests, daily/weekly/monthly statistics, general inquiries regarding Hamilton’s products, technical issues (regarding

Hamilton’s Web site), and hyperlink tracking. This shared information is not linked to any personally identifiable information. Hamilton may share this information with interested parties including but not limited to retail chains, manufacturers and their respective departments, and marketing organizations. Any marketing organizations used by Hamilton are given only the information needed to perform services for Hamilton. These organizations are not permitted to use this information for any secondary purposes.

 

Third Party Advertising

Hamilton does not use third party advertising for this site. Therefore, Hamilton does not share personally identifiable information with third party organizations unless for the express purpose of providing Customer Service.

 

Third Party Intermediaries

We provide personally identifiable information to a credit card processing company to bill customers/users for goods and services. This company does not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information.

 

Service Providers

We partner with manufacturers, retailers, and service companies, to provide specific services. (For example, we contact furnace and air conditioning manufacturers when assisting our customers with warranty claims or technical assistance. We contact our retail partners when assisting customers/users with order placement.)

 

When customers/users sign up for these particular services, we share names, or other contact information such as names, addresses, phone numbers, and (when applicable) sales/payment information that is necessary for the third party to provide these services. These third party service providers are not allowed to use personally identifiable information except for the purpose of providing these services.

 

Business Transitions

In the event Hamilton Home Products, Inc. goes through a business transition, such as a merger, being acquired by another company, or selling a portion of its assets, customers’/users’ personal information will, in most instances, be part of the assets transferred.

 

Customers/users will be notified via email, phone, written correspondence, or prominent notice on our Web site, for 30 days prior to a change of ownership or control of their personal information. if as a result of the business transition, the customers’/users’ personally identifiable information will be used in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection they will be given choice consistent with our notification of changes section.

 

Choice/Opt-out

Our customers/users are given the opportunity to ‘opt-out’ of having their information used for purposes not directly related to our site at the point where we ask for information. For example, our order form has “comments box” so customers/users who buy a product from us, but don’t want any marketing material, can request to keep their email address off of our lists.

 

Customers/users who no longer wish to receive our newsletter and promotional communications may opt-out of receiving these communications by replying to unsubscribe in the subject line in the email.

We encourage our customers/users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of each and every Web site that collects personally identifiable information. Surveys & Contests

From time-to-time our site requests information from customers/users via surveys or contests. Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary and the customer/user therefore has a choice whether or not to disclose this information. The requested information typically includes contact information (such as name, email, phone number, and shipping address), and demographic information (such as zip code).

 

Contact information will be used to notify the winners and award prizes. Survey information will be used for purposes of monitoring or improving the use and satisfaction of this site. Customers’/users’ personally identifiable information is not shared with third parties unless we give prior notice and choice. Though we may use an intermediary to conduct these surveys or contests, they may not use customers’/users’ personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes.

 

Tell-A-Friend

If a customer/user elects to use our referral service for informing a friend about our site, we ask them for the friend’s name and email address. Hamilton will automatically send the friend a one-time email inviting them to visit the site. Hamilton stores this information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time email and tracking the success of our referral program. The friend may contact Hamilton at contactus@hamiltonhomeproducts.com to request the removal of this information from our database.

 

Contractor-Locator Program

Hamilton Home Products, Inc. provides a Contractor-Locator service to Hamilton’s customers/user’s. Hamilton will use personally identifiable information to locate, contact, and discuss with independent contractors near the customer/user. Hamilton will use personally identifiable information to perform this service.

 

The information used usually consists of Names, Addresses, Phone Numbers, and other information necessary to refer the contractor to the customer, and to qualify the potential of each referral. Hamilton Home Products, Inc. reserves the right to retain, store, and follow-up information provided by the customer/user for the purpose of quality assurance.

 

Security

Hamilton takes every precaution to protect our customers’/users’ information. When customers/users submit sensitive information via the Web site, their information is protected both online and off-line.

 

When our registration/order form asks customers/users to enter sensitive information (such as credit card number and/or social security number), that information is encrypted and is protected with the best encryption software in the industry - SSL.

 

While on a secure page, such as our order form, the lock icon on the bottom of Web browsers such as Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer becomes locked, as opposed to Unlocked, or open, when users are just ‘surfing’. While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also do everything in our power to protect customer/user-information off-line. All of our customers’/users’ information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices.

 

Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, our billing clerk or a customer service representative) are granted access to personally identifiable information. Our employees must use password-protected software when they leave their desk. When they return, they must re-enter their password to re-gain access to user information. Furthermore, ALL employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices.

 

Every time new policies are added, our employees are notified and/or reminded about the importance we place on privacy, and what they can do to ensure our customer’s/users’ information is protected.

We use third party companies and software to verify such information as warranty status, shipping information, and credit card verification.

 

Purchasing History

In order for Hamilton to enhance its ability to tailor the site to a customer’s/user’s preference, we combine information about the purchasing habits of customers/users with similar information from our suppliers, to create a personalized user profile.

 

When a customer/user makes a purchase from Hamilton, we collect and store personal information about these purchases for warranty, billing, shipping, and customer service purposes. Hamilton does not share this information with Third Party Advertisers.

 

Hamilton may share this information with the manufacturers and their respective departments for warranty registration, customer services, and technical services.

 

For warranty purposes, some manufacturers and their respective departments require detailed information about the purchase, installation, maintenance, and service of Hamilton equipment. When this information is required, Hamilton Home Products, Inc. will notify the customer/user of the applicable policies and procedures and obtain the required information from the customer/user.

 

Enhancement of Marketing Profile

We use third party marketing data and add it to our existing user database to better target our advertising and provide pertinent offers we think our customers/users would be interested in. We use this information to enhance or overlay the ‘profile’ of individual customers/users. This aggregate marketing data is therefore tied to the customers’/users’ personally identifiable information. See also the “Profile.”

 

Correcting/Updating/Deleting/Deactivating Personal Information

If a user’s personally identifiable information changes (such as zip code, phone, email or postal address), or if a user no longer desires our service, we provide a way to correct, update or delete/deactivate users’ personally identifiable information. Notification of Changes

Limited One-Year Replacement Parts Warranty

This limited one-year warranty covers all Hamilton Replacement Parts unless otherwise stated by Hamilton Documentation.

 

Hamilton Home Products, Inc. warrants that all new Hamilton Replacement Parts sold by Hamilton, are free from defects in material and workmanship under normal, non-commercial use and service. Hamilton will remedy any such defects as they appear within 12 months from the original order date, subject to the terms and conditions of this limited one-year warranty stated below:

 

1. This limited one-year warranty is granted by Hamilton Home Products, Inc. PO Box 185, Canal Winchester, Ohio 43110

 

2. This warranty shall extend only to any non-commercial owner who has purchased this residential product other than purpose of resale.

 

3. The completion and return of the warranty registration card is a condition precedent to warranty coverage and performance. Warranty is not valid unless this card is completed and mailed to the factory within 15 days of equipment installation.

 

4. All Replacement Parts are covered by this limited warranty except expendable and normal wear parts. This warranty only applies if the unit is properly installed and operating according to the manufacturer’s instructions provided with this product.

 

5. If within the warranty period any Hamilton product requires service, Hamilton will not pay shipping charges or labor charges to remove or replace such defective parts or components. If the part or component is found by inspection to contain such defective material or workmanship, it will be either repaired or exchanged, free of charge, at Hamilton’s option, and returned freight collect.

 

6. In order to obtain the benefits of this limited one-year warranty, the owner must notify the Hamilton of any defects within 30 days of discovery. If after reasonable time you have not received a satisfactory response, notify in writing, Hamilton Home Products, Inc. P.O. Box 185, Canal Winchester, Ohio 43110. HAMILTON WILL ONLY RECEIVE, FREIGHT PREPAID,  REMOVABLE PARTS OR COMPONENTS OF SUCH DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS.

 

7. This limited one-year warranty does not apply to any item or component that is damaged in transit or handling; has been subject to abuse, neglect or accident; has not been installed, operated and serviced according to Hamilton’s instructions; has been operated beyond factory rated capacity; altered in any such way that its performance is affected. There is no warranty due to neglect, alteration, or ordinary wear and tear. Hamilton’s liability is limited to replacement of defective items or components and does not include payment of the cost of labor charges to remove or replace such defective components or items.

 

8. Hamilton will not be responsible for loss of use of any product: loss of time, inconvenience, or any other indirect, incidental, or consequential damages with respect to person or property, whether caused directly or indirectly by the product, a result of breach of contract, neglect or otherwise. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the limitation of exclusion in the preceding sentence may not apply to you.

 

9. THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS, WHICH VERY, FROM STATE TO STATE.

 

10. Any warranty by Hamilton of merchantability, fitness for use or any other warranty (expressed, implied, or statutory), representation or guarantee other than what is set forth herein shall expire at the expiration date of this limited one-year warranty. Some states do not allow limitation on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the limitation in the preceding sentence may not apply to you.

 

11. Hamilton reserves the right to make changes in the design and material of its products without incurring any obligation to incorporate such changes in the units completed on the effective date of such change.
