Selecting the Proper Roof Jack
Please Note:  Whether installing a WINCHESTER WGFD Series Mobile Home Gas Furnace as a replacement or new installation, a new roof jack and crown assembly is REQUIRED.   Roof Jack and Crown Assembly is Shown
Formula:  Height from the Floor to the Roof - Furnace Height = Roof Jack Height

The Roof Jack height is adjustable.  When selecting the proper roof jack, find the range that

covers the required Roof Jack Height for the proper Roof Type application (flat or pitched).

Example:
A customer has a Flat Roof (metal roof) Mobile home with a gas furnace.  The measurement from the Floor to the Roof is 112" and the height of the gas furnace is 77.5".  Using the formula from above, figure the proper roof jack height. Height from the Floor to the Roof - Furnace Height = Roof Jack Height 112" - 77.5" = 34.5 " is the Required Roof Jack Height Looking at the chart above, the proper roof jack model number for the application is       WRJF-2551 for a Flat Roof.  The roof jack can be adjusted from 25 to 51 inches.
